 The idea of living a simple life seems to be a real challenge for most people these days. I think the desire to stitch project after project is testament to the fact that we desire and appreciate simple pleasures.
With simplicity in mind we created a farmyard scene with a big red barn complete with a tiny blackbird nestled in the hayloft. Flowers in the hill are stitched over 1 fabric thread (to keep things interesting) and we used overdyed wool felt for the roof and "pennies" at top and bottom. Created just for our "simple masterpiece", the 4 clay buttons make this finished stitched design irresistible. |
