This design reflects the charm and significance of precious objects and ideas of days gone by. Days when we would sit in a special, quiet place and think of those we dearly love and with pen and paper, express our feelings in a letter.

This sampler is topped with a lovely antique writing desk embellished with intricately patterned blackwork and draped with a pretty flowered vine. The backboard is decorated with old quilt blocks and a row of tiny hearts. We used deep reds, golds, browns and greens. It’s a warm and slightly whimsical piece that we hope you will enjoy.
