 We've planted the seeds for a happy heart and home with "Sow Good Seeds". To create a design on this soft green Graziano Gingham was pure pleasure!! There are a few other "points of interest" like:
The lancaster red wool felt roof and blue wool "pennies" at both top and bottom. The flowers in the hill are stitched over 1 fabric thread (really makes them stand out!). There are a total of 4 handcrafted clay buttons...a large dotted moon, tiny heart for the door, and tiny flowers that sit in the center of the wool "pennies". For the "zig-zag" side borders we used fine perle cotton...you just can't get bored stitching this one! We added the companions "Seeds of Blue" and "Seeds of Pink" to complete the vignette...we love these miniature versions of the big thing. Guess you could say these are a "chip off the big checker"...(tee-hee!) |
